+Renegade Knight
I took a look at a 60CS today. The battey compartment has a rubber ring around the batteries. However the twist locking mechanism appears to not be contained within that rubber gasket and the hole goes through the plastic cover and you can see inside to what looks like a green circut board. Is this a flaw or is this thing watertight like all the other Garmin GPS's? Quote Link to comment
+EtrexRose
Well, if thats how it came brand new, and its like that on all of them, then I guess it is waterproof, I have held mine under water in a river for a minutes and it still works fine. Quote Link to comment
