Garmin Etrex Euro, Software For Pc Wanted (newbie)

Hi,

 

Firstly, apologies for being new to these here forums...

 

I've just got into this - bought a Garmin etrex Euro off a mate and managed to get it to (just about) talk to my PC [thanks to interface cable & 'GARtrip' software] - what software packages do people recommend however, I'd like to be able to easily manage waypoints and routes mainly.

 

I apologise in advance for missing any obvious threads about this topic - please feel free to point me at them, flame me and lock the thread - it's what I'd do to you in a similar position

If in USA and you want to buy some stuff - a pay for proggie like USPhotomaps (but better IMHO) - Excellent mapping / Arial Photo tool

If your in the uk and want mapping and OS maps (expensive but worth it)
