opie744
We are going to be in the Cocoa Beach, FL area next week, only have a short amount of time there and was hoping to get some recommendations on excellent cache's near there. If this has already been discussed, will someone send me the link? Some kid friendly ones would also be nice. Thanks so much!!! Quote Link to comment

+SeekerOfTheWay
Does anyone know of any parks within 15 miles of Cocoa Beach that is a little more scenic (trails etc) *and* has many caches? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Road Rabbit
Does anyone know of any parks within 15 miles of Cocoa Beach that is a little more scenic (trails etc) *and* has many caches? Thanks! Wickham Park in Melbourne will meet that requirement. It's about 12-15 miles south of Cocoa Beach and has at least 25 caches of various types and difficulties, including the oldest cache in the area. Most other large parks and recreation areas in central Brevard County have at least a few. Some good choices: Pine Island Conservation Area, Manatee Cove Park and Kings Park on north Merritt Island. Do a cache search on Zip Code 32931 and you'll be able to find a lot more. The county is nearly 75 miles long and contains over 1,000 caches. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
