Were headed down for spring break w/ the kids, Going to the cocoa beach FL area. Anyone know of good cache's in the area?? I kow alot of us Michiganders have to go down to get our sun therapy! Thanks!!

We are going to be in the Cocoa Beach, FL area next week, only have a short amount of time there and was hoping to get some recommendations on excellent cache's near there. I have to say there is alot that I learned in the last 7mos of caching and forum watching that I wouldn't have because it may have not been in the "rules". I know cachers that do it only once in awhile and they do things that some people don't like, things that aren't in the "rules" but you learn from talking to others or reading forums. I'm wonder if a person just coming into the forums would be as educated? There were GOOD things discussed before that didn't have to do with caching directly but maybe indirectly.

I've got the eye for the surronding nature area too, here my husband will be following the GPS yards away from it and I can spot the cache', most of the time, without going in the brush. When it comes to really tricky hides, not in the brush, ect. He's actually better because he trusts the tech. more. Things that are hidden in a brick on a building. He's good with that, we make a good team. it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

We had no idea that there were other sites, Navi-----, had nothing near us and Bux--Geo--, took us here anyways, why bother. I go the shortest route.( its what gets me in trouble in the woods too. ) it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

Last weekned we got accuracy of 96ft. That is the worst we've had. The cache's we did were a bunch of 1's and 2's so usually saw them before we got too close. It didn't really effect us, but if we'd done some tricky finds, we would have been stumped. Cloud or tree covered, or not, didn't matter. I was glad to read on the thread "sun spots", that we weren't the only ones. it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

I am not against the cub scouts in anyway but they can leave a cache' empty. We have cache'd behind a few groups of scouts and the girls are disappointed, there isn't even "junk" toys. (it seems that is what they want anyways.) I just love the hunt but the girls are disappointed if there is NOTHING but a log book, seems like they could leave a little something, badge, anything. it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

Can the owner of the TB delete the logs if they don't like the fact that someone saw it and didn't move it anywhere?? Like a cacher owner can delete a log on a cache'?? it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

Joe frog, I darn near pottied myself, I laughed so hard!!!! In michigan we have a bunch of cool sig items, some are; - Windrose, dreamcatcher -squirrel nut, 50kaneek -getting away, inukshuk -dinoprophet, pin w/ dino -victory mike, flag pin and many more, collecting these sig items is our favorite part. it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!

I think a homemade lure is a great idea, like I said in the other thread, wish I cache'd in your area. Haven't any cash to travel there though. it's 5 o'clock somewhere!!
