+Got no socks!
Where do Geo Coins come from? Saw one in a cache today. They seem to have unique numbers. Can they be used just like travel bugs? Where can someone get? Quote Link to comment

+Team Og Rof A Klaw
Groundspeak sells 'em through USA Geocoins, and these ones can be tracked here like travel bugs. There are a bunch of other places to get them. This site shows just about every geocoin known. Some geocoin makers run their own tracking sites; others can't be tracked because the people that make 'em don't have the arrangement with Groundspeak or a tracking site of their own. Usually this doesn't matter because geocoins tend to be taken home as prizes. You can even get your own designs made. You can find 'em on wood, resin, and even minted in bronze (though this costs several hundred dollars to set up.) I personally like the designs from geocachetreasure.com. ____________________________ - Team Og Rof A Klaw All who wander are not lost. Quote Link to comment
