well i have given a good effort but it dosent look like the cache my bug was in is going to be found so i need to know how to deactivate it. is there any way to remove it from my list of travel bugs? thanks for the help

i have a palm V, (yes i know its old) but it was free. i am currently using cachemate from smittyware but dont really like it because the decriptions and logs all get cut off so you cant read all of it. i tried mobi reader but couldnt get it to work. is plunker any better? has anyone tried all of them and what is the best? after reading some threads i see that alot of people like cachemate, i have it but am i correct that it cuts off the decriptions and the logs to whatever is on the page and noting more?

i dont know if this only happening to me. i use yahoo as my email client and i am having gpx file sent to me for my palm V. recetly i noticed that every other file can not be downloaded because there is a virus attached to it. i find it dificult to believe that this is happening because the files should be coming strait from the Groundspeak server but i may be wrong. maybe the host need to check into this. if they need, the next time it happenes i will foward the file to them.

i think j&m beela and i read the same article in newday. i had a gift cert for best buy i got for my b-day, went out the same day and bought a sporttrax map and hit the trails. 3 caches later i hadnt found a thing and was ready to give up. i called magellan and after some tests it was discovered that the gpsr was broke. so i went back to best buy to exchange it and give caching one more chance. the woman at best buy said no problem on the exchange and took my bag with the defective gps and went to the back to get me a new one. she returned with my bag and said have a nice day. i went to my car and opened the bag and to my surprise inside the bag was a sport track color (cost about $300 more) since then i havent had to many problems finding any caches except the second part of j&m Bella haunted series part III. but with a little help i am totally hooked. update on fdny260! jim is recovering nicely. he is going for alot of rehab. he had a cieling collapse on him at a third alarm in queens ans sustained 3rd dergree burns on his arms and badly injured his back. he currently had one hurniated disk and one compleatly destroyed disk in his back. doc hope to rehab him back to work. but there may be a chance his disks wont heal and than he will have to have his vertibra fused and his firefighting career will be over. he sends his thanks for all the well wishes and hopes to see you in the field again soon. luckly one thing his is allowed to do is walk so maybe when his burns heal he can get back to his favorite thing to do. make sure that you maintain the cache. i recently did a seven part cache and was very excite when i found part 6 (only one left to the jackpot) only to find the coordinates were unreadable i was very disapointed. dont let this happen to you :-) FDNY260 Never Forget 9-11-01

I RECENTLY STATED USING CACHEMATE ON MY PALM V. i headed out on a seven hop cache and after the 5th hop i looked in the pda for the clues but the pda didnt have all of the decription. i went to the computer after leaving and noticed that alot of the long decription was not downloaded to the pda. is there anyway to correct this or is cachemate limited to the amout of decription it will download? i did notice that it downloaded alot of the logs. i am having alot of trouble so i am asking for instructions in laymens terms to try and see what im doing wrong. i have downloaded cachemate for my palm V. loaded it on the pda, got my gpx file, converted it. double clicked on it and set it up for sync. i hot synced. started cache mate and the file is nowhere to be found. any ideas?
