+dhenninger
Found a few benchmarks while on vacation in St. Thomas and can not figure out how to log them. Tried looking up by coordinate and it said none found. Any Help? dave (dhenning25) Quote Link to comment
+GeckoGeek
Do you have any photos to post? There are tons, of benchmarks out there that are created by different agencies. If we can see a photo or at least have the full label, we might give you some pointers. You might also want to read the FAQ. Scroll down to "I found a benchmark, but it isn't in your database. Why?" +happycycler
Not sure if there are any Virgin Islands benchmarks listed on the GeoCaching website. I tried searching for nearest benchmarks from a couple of random Virgin Islands caches with no success. The NGS site does include some survey marks from the U.S. Virgin Islands but we can only log points that GeoCaching includes in their list. Quote Link to comment
+dhenninger
Have not been albe to post pictures yet, but... I looked again and they are in fact not NGS markers, but they are Army Corp of Engineers Markers. I guess that would explain it then. It would be nice if there were some way to log them though Dave (dhenning25) Quote Link to comment
