Downloading Waypoints (to Garmin Legend)

I installed EasyGPS and did the user agreement to download the .loc files for the caches. But when I click the link to download, I just get redirected to the waypoints page (http://www.geocaching.com/waypoints/). Nothing will ever download.

 

Anyone willing to offer suggestions? I know this is a basic software question, but I did search, and I did not find.

Some things to check:

 

1. Make sure you are 'logged in".

 

2. I have read that logging out and then logging back in, helps.

 

3. Sounds like you are getting to the license agreement page ok, did you agree?

 

I have had problems myself, with this, and I've been using it for quite some time. The log out/ log in method seems to "reset" everything for me though.

p.s. you might want to consider removing the tilde's from your Forum logon name. I have read here on the forums that special characters can cause a problem with PMs (Personal Messages). You can always try it out without making any change and see what happens.

The issue is that I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

 

I opened Internet Explorer (eek!!) and I seem to be in business now.

No problem, but can I just do that or do I have to get some sort of adminsitrator to do it for me or what?
