+John Stead
I know that advertising caches is not normally allowed on this forum, but, once in a while one comes along where the owner merits thanks for the effort he has put into it. I have just spent a very enjoyable afternoon in NE Wales and in particular seeking and finding GCHR93 "Warren Dee Wind Farm" by Mancunian Pyrocacher. It is obvious that Dave has gone to a lot of trouble in setting up this cache and obtaining the necessary permissions from the land owners and CADW. It is a great location, the hideyholes are well thought out and the whole thing makes for a most enjoyable hour or so especially on a fine winter afternoon as this was - even the snow managed to pass by to the East! Thank you Dave for this - I hope many others enjoy it as much as I did. Quote Link to comment
+Brenin Tegeingl
Sorry to correct you like this , but it was CCW (Countryside Council of Wales) who had to approve this one. I'm slowly working with CADW, on a CITO event, they're the Welsh version of English Heritage. Think old buildings and castles (there's a clue in there ). Dave Quote Link to comment
