+Bear and Ting Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 last May, my wife, myself, and a friend of ours came to the UK for holiday and to try a littel UK style geocaching. We did more driving than caching, but we did find some nice caches. While in the UK, Scotland to be exact, my wife picked up a bottle of DrumGray Highland Cream. She is not a scotch drinker, but she likes this. Anyway, we were assured they do export, yet we cannot find a US distributor. Anyone care to get me a cost of 6-12 bottles, including the shipping? Cheers, Bear & Ting
+Learned Gerbil Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 (edited) This place appears to ship to the US and costs about £10 a bottle plus shipping. The Tryst There must be varieties of Irish Cream available in the US that would taste similar. Baileys seems available everywhere I have been, and Whisky and Cream liqueurs are nearly all attempts to mimic this drink. Baileys Search Google for "Irish cream" and you will see dozens of varieties of this sugar, whisky and cream concoction. Edited January 25, 2004 by Learned Gerbil
Rangers of Ithilien Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 If anyone needs a recommendation for The Tryst, take it from me! They are brilliant. I frequently order bottles of Moniack Mead from them and they arrive within a day or so in perfect condition. I would have no hesitation what so ever in ordering from them whether in the UK as I am, or abroad. Likewise, if anyone needs a recommendation for Moniack Mead............*hic* Tiffers!

Also, while there are many "Irish Cremes" and such, this one seems a little more unique. We've tried some of the others that are offered locally, and they are not quite the same. Thanks, I will keep searching. Bear
Lactodorum Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 Sorry to do this (I like a tipple myself ) but this is a geocaching forum and this thread has veered off the geocaching topic into commercialism just a little too much. I'm going to have to lock the thread. You could always try www.geocacheuk.com whose forum rules are a little more relaxed if you want to continue the discussion. Cheers guys & gals.
