mcvey Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 I have two travelbugs racing each other around the globe (slowly!) from California, USA. One of them has been stuck in a cache in New South Wales since September and I'm hoping someone from the area will see this post and rescue him. Can someone pick up Westbound Racing Bat from Sand Dunes and Saltbush please? Thank you! The cache URL is: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...7a-a48b5b8490da. Quote
Swampgecko Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Mate I don't like your chances of a quick rescue... that is in the neither regions of geocaching for New South Wales. Your best hope is for a passing traveller to pick it up. I'll help you a little and repost this thread in the local aussie forums. Quote
Biggles Bear Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 You might be better off looking toward the SA cachers. Quote
mcvey Posted February 3, 2004 Author Posted February 3, 2004 Thank you. I didn't know there were local forums to post in. I guess the Westbound Racing Bat wins the race anyway. Eastbound Bat never made it out of North America. Quote
richary Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 A few hundred kilometres from Adelaide, but there is hope. A big 4WD get together is happening the 2nd weekend in March at Mildura which is close by. If some cachers from here know they might head that way, not sure if I am going yet but if I do will detour this direction instead of taking the bitumen. Quote
