+THE BRAMBLERS
School children who have been tracking the Stag Beetle TB must be delighted with it's massive 21,000+ mile journey since it's release from the HCC Winchester 2003 Event on July 19th. This figure doesn't include a documented but unlogged tour across Europe. It has already crossed 3 continents, and has recetly landed in South Africa. Thanks to everyone who has helped it on it's way. Anyone else got any high mileage travel bugs? Quote Link to comment
+MarcB
Over 7000 of those miles by me! I thought it was lost when Samurai Warror took it although this meant it came back to the UK and is now in South Africa! Pretty darn good! How are the other bugs incased in plastic doing? +THE BRAMBLERS
MarcB How are the other bugs incased in plastic doing? The other two must be the homely types, or scared of flying. The Giant Wood Wasp and the Purple Emperor Butterfly are still in the UK. The Wasp has been moving steadily but we think the Butterfly must have gone into hibernation so we sent an email today to try and stir it into action; it hasn't moved since September.
