+sarossell
Hey, ok so Mapopolis rocks. And when I first installed it, I couldn't get it to shut up. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get it to talk to me again. I've said my apologies, but that's not doing the trick. The Active Route Guidance option is greyed out/disabled. And in spite of clicking on the voice prompts checkbox in the Sounds settings screen, and in spite of the fact the test and voice volume work just fine, it refuses to talk to me when providing directions. The printed directions come up, but no voice. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. I have uninstalled and even went into the pocket registry and removed all references to mapopolis and then reinstalled. Program works great, but no voice. I'm working with purchased San Diego map files, not the demo versions. Thanks! Edited January 7, 2004 by sarossell Quote Link to comment
+robert
You may want to post your question in the official Mapopolis forums at: http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?CAT_ID=5 Make sure you tell them if you're using Palm or PocketPC. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
+sarossell
Thanks. I checked it out and searched there for a prior posting on the subject before posting my own. Of course, I also sent an e-mail to Mapopolis support. But so far, no solutions. Any other ideas? I'm beginning to suspect the map files(?) I purchased. They work just fine except for the voice function...hmmm.... Quote Link to comment
