+Keith Watson
I just had to archive my cache until I can replace the container. Is thewre a way to un-archive it when I do? Link to comment
+Lazyboy & Mitey Mite
Well you've already done it so now you'll have to email the site and ask them to do it for you. There is a button to temporarily disable it which is what I've used before. Link to comment
Jeremy
Try contacting the original approver, listed at the bottom of the cache listing. Or email contact@geocaching.com and provide the GC number so they can look it up and unarchive it for you. Archiving a cache is meant to be permanent. You can disable a cache to do maintainence on it. Link to comment

How log does an achived cache remain on a search page? When it remains on a search page, it suggest that the cache might be reactivated. Link to comment

A disabled cache shows up on all search pages with a line through it. You're right, a disabled cache indicates that it will be reactived sometime soon--although oftentimes it's not. (Maybe they should be called Temporarily Disabled and Permanently Disabled. ) Jamie Link to comment
+9Key
Jamie Z hit the nail on the head. To add to his info: If a cache is disabled for more than a couple of months try and contact the cache owner to check the status. Maybe they'll archive it. If the contact doesn't work email your local cache reviewer. Link to comment
