techX
I was curious if anyone has given either of these pieces of software a try under Mac OS X? They both sound interesting, but I would love to hear a review that focuses on running in on Mac rather than the Windows National Geographic Topo reviews. Thanks, Bill Quote Link to comment
+F9nder
Just got TOPO for my birthday. Installed on eMac running 10.3.2. Application seems to work fine. I'm still early on the learning curve, but it seems to be set up sensibly. I haven't yet printed, and I am waiting for delivery of the recommended Keyspan USB to serial adapter to fit the serial cable that came with my eTrex Legend. Does anyone know if I can upload actual maps to my eTrex w/ TOPO, or am I limited to waypoints and routes. I'd love to use that 8megs for something prettier for my display than just some major roads. Thanks, F9nder Quote Link to comment

You will have to use the MapSource® software for that. Quote Link to comment
