+Hunt
ok early this year i bought a Magellan Meridian Platinum and i love it it got me unlost with the help of a friend on a walkie talkie with a gps but on the box it show a picture of the built in weather station ive been to that page and it doesent show the little sun partially clouded sun and the clouds on the baro-preasure reading circle it doesent show the little snow flake and chili peper on the thermometer and the baro-preasure history graph is not that nice smooth line. so whats the deal! ive played around with options alot and i have the latest firmwear so is this just something they put on there to attract impulse buyers at the frys electronic store or is there something i can do that iv'e misseed? robertlipe
By a fluke, I happened to have a Plat box within reach. The closest to that screen you'll see is "menu-weather", but the box clearly is a dummied-up version of what the marketing department thought the screens should look like. Honestly, I'd be annoyed if it thought I needed a snowflake and a chili pepper to distinguish hot and cold anyway. So I guess if you insist on optimizing it down to two words, you're right: Magellan lies. Quote Link to comment
