Kansas City Caches

Hi, I am heading to Kansas City in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what must see caches I should hit. Thanks

Are you looking for:

(1) Drive-bys ?

(2) Short walks (under 1 hour)

(3) Long walks (an hour or more)

(4) Day-long hikes

(5) Extreme caches that take a whole day or more, and have a major element of mortal danger?

 

(I am working with the other KC area cachers to gather such a list. But, I can also recommend some.)

 

What area of KC will you be staying in?

I will be stayingin the downtown area, and would be interested in the following:

I will start gathering recommendations, but one Virtual you HAVE to see in Monkey House. Trust me. It is a hoot.

 

The 4 (now 5) in Monkey Mountain park (East of KC) is about a 30-45 minute drive away, and can take the better part of the day. They took a fat old guy like me somewhere around 3+ hours I think.

 

There are many on both sides of the state line, with more on the Kansas side of KC. There are some near memorials in Missouri.

 

I am placing a 2-step evil micro in a city park.
