If I didn't like the game, why would I participate? Next time it might do you good to look at someones profile before comming to a conclusion about their Gerocaching activity. +Leapin' Lizards
Is it worth it? I told my husband and my 16-yr old son that they could choose any place in the continental US for a vacation destination this year, as long as they could come up with something to DO while we were there. After bracing for some serious financial impact, they both actually chose a spot about 8 hrs away by car, where we spent a great week geocaching our brains out... ...Not only that, but the 16-yr old was still speaking to us by the end of the week. That alone is worth the $300 we spent on the GPS unit earlier this year. We spent seven days in close proximity to each other, and only once threatened to leave him at the next cache we found. Is it worth it? To peel husband away from computer for fresh air and exercise, to have kid go from a surly, nasty creature to somebody giving me a high-five for finding a cache... OH YEAH, it's worth it! Quote Link to comment
