Woody2
I have a Garmin V, can I remove all the waypoints without doing one at a time? Woody Quote Link to comment
+ScottJ
Do a FIND, select BY NAME, then OK. Now hit MENU and one of your options will be DELETE ALL. (You can also delete BY SYMBOL, which is a nice feature ... for example, you can delete all the caches you've already found by deleting all waypoints with the GEOCACHE FOUND symbol. +res2100
I have actually wondered how to do the same thing onmy SporTrak Pro. I have a few hundred in there and would like them all removed and start fresh. So far I have been removing one at a time when I find the cache. http://ca.geocities.com/rsab2100/pond.html Quote Link to comment
+MO & GO
Press Menu - Setup - Clear Memory - Wpts/Routes - Yes. That does it. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
One thing I do is enter out-of-town caches with different symbols. This way, when I return from a trip, I just delete all of the caches with that symbol. That lets me leave any local cache waypoints or non-geocaching waypoints in the unit. Quote Link to comment
Dave Lucas
I change what's on my Magellen 315 (I know I know, but I'm hoping for a Colortrack for my birthday) by downloading all to EZGPS, erasing all on the GPS, then deleting sorting etc etc etc on EZGPS and only uploading what I want...
