Syn
I helped place a cache awhile back and one that I placed was in conjunction with another cacher. This person is a very inactive cacher and I personally yanked his cache as mine was already plundered. I have posted a note on his cache page and he said he would archive it. but to date he has not done it....so would an admin archive his cache as I can walk 20 feet to his work area and touch the cache that I yanked from there. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=22744 Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
I don't guess that I understand... You pulled his cache because yours was plundered? If his wasn't plundered what was the problem with it? Did you pull it because he is inactive? Have you considered adoption? Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again. Quote Link to comment
+welch
if you think the cache should be archived, you can pick that as a choice when you post a log. which it looks like you've done. if that didnt work you should try sending an email to the contact address, and in a couple days one of the admins will probly get to it. +briansnat
Yeah, this confuses me too. Why would you take someone elses cache because yours was plundered? It seems the other cache was out there and being found. I think syn knew this other person was losing interest in geocaching, and while he or she was out the they just removed the other cache so it wouldn't become litter. But thats just my guess! Rxprt88
I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind pulling his cache if your's was taken. If he's not interested in it anymore then you can just adopt it. Short of that, now there are 2 less caches in the area for people to find instead of one. Quote Link to comment
