+woodsters Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Going to post this in the New England section of the forum, but thought some from the area may not read it in that section and sounds like a good idea. Althought I won't be able to attend this, In Leomnister, MA on August 2nd (Saturday), they will be having a cleanup of the Monoosnoc Brook. The paper I received says this is the 16th year of doing this and will be help from 10am - 12 noon. They are asking for volunteers. In the 16 years they have removed 120 tons of trash. I beleive it says there's a barbecue afterwards as well as giving out prizes and tshirts for the volunteers. More info on the brook can be found at www.ourbrook.org . If you want to know who to contact or more info on the article, feel free to email me. Brian As long as you're going to think anyway, think big. -Donald Trump Quote
+briansnat Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Why not create a CITO event cache for it? "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day" - Dave Barry Quote
+woodsters Posted July 31, 2003 Author Posted July 31, 2003 I just learned about it today...and it's only 2 days away. Kind of short notice...plus they want the volunteers to contact them. It's already a planned event as well. Brian As long as you're going to think anyway, think big. -Donald Trump Quote
