+Marky
Why the sad/mad icon, you ask? The price jumped from $1.35 to $3.99! I guess the geocaching community has increased the demand for these puppies. I was going to order 50 when they came back in stock, but I think I will have to pass now. I can get normal ammo boxes for $3.99 locally. It's hard to justify paying the same for a decon conainter. --Marky "All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer with a backlit GPSr" Quote Link to comment
+georgeandmary
I guess I won't be buying any of these either. george Pedal until your legs cramp up and then pedal some more. Quote Link to comment
GRANDMASTER CACHE
Count me out, as well! Besides, I've been having fun with the $50 prescription bottles! If you hide it, they will come. Grandmaster Cache Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
They are $2.50 at Cheaperthandirt. Not as good as the old Rangersupply price but still way better than $3.99. What a rip! "Paternalism is the greatist despotism" - Emmanual Kant Quote Link to comment
GRANDMASTER CACHE
Uh oh... I was thinking - this could be a bad thing... This might mean Marky & Joani are going to get even smaller containers, as if they don't have enough of 'em already! If you hide it, they will come. Grandmaster Cache Quote Link to comment
FullOn
Just got my Cheaper Than Dirt dot com catalog yesterday and noticed they have 6 ammo cans (30 cal I think) for under 20 bucks. Not a bad deal, and a hell of a lot easier to find than the little decon canisters! "I thought you said this was a quick find!" - My wife Quote Link to comment
Night Tracker
No, It means M&J are going to go with 50 ammo can caches. God I love ammo cans[] Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I sent Rangersupply an e-mail saying that I was disappointed at the huge price increase and would find my decon containers elsewhere in the future. Maybe if they get enough e-mails to this effect, they may reconsider. "Paternalism is the greatist despotism" - Emmanual Kant Quote Link to comment
+Freelens&Mosie
My guess if the original price were $4, they still would have sold out. Decon boxes are the best small cache container bar none. That price is not that outrageous. Send me some, I'll give you $5. A day without sunshine is like ...night. Quote Link to comment
