+Shadow's
I see a number of caches listed as "archived." When this happens does the owner of the cache have a time limit to go and fix the cache or is that area lost to any future cache sites? There is a area that I would love to place a cache, however there is a archived cache within the .1 mile limit. I have contacted the person who placed the cache and found out that it was taken. I ask him what his plans were. I was told that he may replace it but right now he was just too busy. The cache was archived over 6 months ago. Now to me that is a wast of a good cache area. The owner does not know when or if he will replace it. It could be tomorrow, a year from now or never. Is there a rule on how long a archived cache can be in limbo before it dies and the area is open again? Thanks, Rick Quote Link to comment
