The folks in NZ seem to be working out their public lands policies using politeness and good will, and in public on the forum. Perhaps we Yankees could learn somthing from the Kiwis. +Roadster Posted March 31, 2003 Share Posted March 31, 2003 Today I contacted the local Park Ranger station and talked to the main person in charge, I explained to him what geocaching is about and then asked if I may place a cache in a certain forest that is close by here and he said I am "..welcome to place one in any of the parks or forests that is located in Newton and Jasper counties" he was very nice and he knew it would bring tourists to the area, I also told him about "cache in-trash out", he liked that part of it very well.
