Hmmm, Cool, I never noticed that before.

On mine it gives me the same position in two different formats hddd.ddddd and hddd mm.mmm If I change the display format in Units/Setup, one of them changes. Can anyone find a way to change the second displayed format?

PARK2, Yes that is how it works. I got an e-mail back from Garmin Tech Support and that's what they said. I also brought up about wanting to see your current location and your destination on the same view. They said you could not do that but he would let his supervisor know and maybe it will be on an update some day. Let Garmin know that it is something that would be nice to have.

Here's Garmin's reply to my question about geting both of the above coordinates in a Vista. Doesn't look to good.

Thank you for contacting GARMIN International,

Due to the size and limitation of the unit/software this option is not available in the eTrex units. You are able to (as you have seen) see both locations on different pages of the unit during a go to. If you have any other questions please let us know.

Ha-ha!

Seems to be one of these "Let's see if he buys that" answers. Adding the ability to view the destination coordinates in the trip computer page, for example, would hardly consume that much memory in the firmware. Not compared to the Jumping Master, for example, something they added without any problems with size of the unit or firmware.
