+jtice
I own a Garmin etrex Vista, and I think Garmin units and software are better. Quote Link to comment
+Searching_ut
I own both Garmin and Magellan units. I voted Garmin, primarily because I prefer the Garmin maps, and interface a little bit better. Had you broke it down to specific conditions in which I would have prefered one unit over the other, the answer could have easily gone the other way. Quote Link to comment
+EtrexRose
Have owned a Magellan Gold, Etrex, Etrex Lengend, Etrex Vista, and currently own a Garmin Rino 120 and Lowrance Ifinder. I am finding that the Ifinder is the most advanced unit and most "honest" when it comes to estimated gps accuracy. Anyways, Its all good. I do what I gotta do, when I GOTTA do it. +Cachetrotters
Hey, poll master, you spelled MagellAn incorrectly. I think that's why it isn't getting many votes--nobody has a MagellEn. Quote Link to comment

Believe I'll have to ask you to explain this one . Are there data to support your claim or is this empirical? don Quote Link to comment
