USN Retired
Was working hard today and the FEDEX guy came and left a note. Didn't leave my MeriPlat. Will get it tomorrow and then go caching in the Virginia Beach snow on Saturday. Go Navy Quote Link to comment

Cache Canucks
...you can provide FedEx with a signed waiver that they'll keep on file which allows them to leave parcels without obtaining a signature. Of course, the downside to that is if a parcel goes missing (ie: FedEx says the left it, and you say you never got it), you're on the hook - not FedEx. Quote Link to comment
Dale_Lynn
Leave note on door for FEDEX person to have neighbor accept package.... Providing neighbor is agreeable. Never Again Volunteer Yourself THATS NOT BURNT, THATS BAR-B-QUE when you retire is that you now have to go get a real job. As an AF retiree, trust me--you can't live off of retired pay. Makes the house payment, though! don Quote Link to comment
+Searching_ut
quote: Originally by cachtrotters: when you retire is that you now have to go get a real job I've found the "real job", is almost like being retired. Much better pay, less responsibility, considerably more time off. Most importantly, if you decided you wanted to, you can say "I quit" Maybe if I win the lottery. Just imagine a 6 month coast to coast geocaching adventure...... Jeff USAF retired (Yea right) Quote Link to comment
