310 Navigator for $49.88

It seems as if this deal is dead. Out of stock on the Comp-usa website.

 

 

I thought I would pass this deal along to my fellow geocachers. Comp-USA is selling the Magellan GPS 310 Navigator for $49.88. It's not a great unit. But for less than $50 whata you want?

 

If you have any friends that are looking to get involved this may be the way to get them started. Also it might be an OK backup to leave in your glovecompartment. Here is the link.

I saw this same sale and was on my way to see if anyone on the forums uses this GPS or knows of any good reviews.

My understanding is that this is a solid bare-bones unit. I don't currently own any GPS so take that for what it's worth.

The 310 is a 12 channel GPS with a minimal user interface. It has a segmented (NOT dot matrix) display. Holds 100 waypoints and 1 route. If you just need to know where you are and how to get somewhere and don't need all the other features in most GPS units then it is a good unit.
