Peregrine007 Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 I've just started using a SporTrak Map (usually use a Garmin Vista), and so far I'm impressed with the features for the price. I've found the Canadian and US MapSend software, and noticed the "Magup" utility to upgrade the basemap in the unit. However, all the messages for MagUp seem to say to use it only with the 330 or some other unit. Is there a MagUp utility to upgrade the basemap on the SporTrak Map? Quote Link to comment

Peregrine007 Posted April 2, 2003 Author Share Posted April 2, 2003 OK, thanks. I "won" the SporTrak a while ago (in a cache!), and upgraded the firmware before I even used it. So, I don't know what the basemap was like before. I didn't realize that the firmware upgrade included a new basemap (the upgrades on the Garmins only seem to add features and fix the occasional bug). Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
