SergZak
The URL is not wrong...just look over on the far right side of the page. All new updates are listed there for those that also have units other than the Vista. Quote Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
Let me re-phrase that: Better URL Quote Link to comment
dad&princesses
I downloaded 3.1 last night. It was an upgrade from 2.42 I believe. Other than being able to enter my owner info, I haven't been able to find much of a difference. It's almost like they are talking about a different unit! D&P Quote Link to comment
+Searching_ut
They didn't change much in the look or feel of the interface. The big difference is that now you can set the active track to record as many as 10,000 trackpoints. The old 2000 point limit of the Legend meant I couldn't do a long dayhike with the unit set to record at the most detailed auto setting without exceeding the memory. Now there is no way I could ever get into good enough shape to exceed the capability of the unit on a three day weekend backpack trip. You can also now include more waypoints in your routes etc. Quote Link to comment
+apersson850
That's exactly the idea behind this software update policy. Features and so can be added, as long as the general user interface isn't changed. That way they don't have to make new manuals etc. all the time, since the things that are described in the manual still act in the same way. Changes in the specifications is something the user can see for himself by checking the upgrade history on the software download page. Anders Quote Link to comment
