Caches not showing on display

I am having issues with a Garmin Drivesmart mobil, the display is not showing the caches when I am traveling.

 

I delete all data from the GPX folder then I load the gpx file into the GPX folder on the unit. This use to work years back, but now they do not display.

 

When I go to Whereto then Saved Places, the caches will show on the map symbol in the upper right hand corner.

 

Getting very frustrated.

I agree with you, Little Red Wagon. My previous unit would show all the caches that I had downloaded on the screen as I drove. That made it easy to veer off my route to check out a nearby cache. Since I purchased a DriveSmart 66, the caches are not displayed. Only the cache that I choose to be routed to shows up.

I am using the same RV 780 that I was using before, so it is in a software upgrade in the last 2-3 years. They will show when first load them into the unit, but after I do something on the gps they do not show.

 

When you go to Where To>Saved in the folded map (in the upper right corner), they show. Why not on the real map?

 

You would think it would be some simple mod unless some copyright or exclusive from Google that wont allow the showing of the caches.
