+SurdiVisio Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 hello GC folks, I don't know why there's a data difference of one (or more) when I view my personal GC Statisitcs on the official app / 3rd party apps vs website platforms. Both geocaches and Adventure Labs data count (lets say X) are shown at APP = Profile menu (Finds) WEB = https://www.geocaching.com/my/statistics.aspx and view Basic Statistics. If I want to see the geocache count (not including ALs) - lets say Y. APP = Click on Finds option off Profile, and it says "You have found Y caches so far" WEB = Via the Maps Statistics tab at the same webpage above At end of yesterday, the official GC app me that I've found 1,979 geocaches (2,328 altogether, including ALs). This is the iOS app. Website informs me that I've found 1978 geocaches (in 2 countries) via the Maps, and 2,328 altogether. If I run a Pocket Query of MyFinds, it is 1,979 finds. Ditto at Project-GC and my 3rd party app (Cachly). Where's the missing geocache (1979 less 1978) that https://www.geocaching.com/my/statistics.aspx is overlooking? Is that the Locationless (Reverse) geocache? Won't it be easier if the website and app (both maintained by Groundspeak) have the same results? Cheers, SurdiVisio Quote

I can't view the Maps page of your profile since you've made that private, but from your caches found page I see a total of 2328, of which 349 are labs, which leaves 1979 regular finds. It's quite likely the Locationess cache isn't counted on the Maps page since it's, well, locationless. Edited October 13, 2024 by barefootjeff 1 Quote
+SurdiVisio Posted October 13, 2024 Author Posted October 13, 2024 Possibly correct. I was wondering if basic and premium geocachers can look up the total of finds at https://www.geocaching.com/account/dashboard - without Adventure Labs (locations) included. There's nowhere in the web portal, so I thought the Maps statistics would do the trick. Apparently not. Quote
