Finding archived Events in an area

Hi Geo-experts

Is there any way you can find archived events in a particular area, dating back a number of years?

Information is to solve a puzzle from an area I don't live in.

Project-GC's "Map Compare" tool can do this. For instance,

One thing I like to do is go back and look at archived caches of all kinds, you can do that by finding a geocacher that has been geocaching in your area for years, clicking on the geocaches section of there profile and going to caches they have found or owned and there will be a detailed list of caches found and made by them archived or not.
