About mystery cache idea

Hi! I've hiddent a normal cache and now want to hide a mystery cache. Near my city(where I will hide it) there aren't any mystery caches of this type... or at least haven't seen any of them. So I would write a description and between my language and english I would leave 2 lines "empty" and put the coordinates there in white color so you can see it in web view or on a computer. What to fellow COs think of that?

This is a very common technique for mystery caches.  If there are not a lot of mystery caches where you live, introducing a classic concept like this would be well-received.  You'd get the credit for doing something "new!"

 

I hid my first cache using this technique in 2005.

Well there are a lot of  mystery caches but everyone has complicated tasks which people say in their messages.

I like those kind of mystery caches. You don't need to be experienced or super smart to solve something like this. The very first mystery cache I solved had this technique!

Please note that, depending of the software or the device used to read your cache description, the coordinates could be shown without any effort required.

 

The official Geocaching App will show that, for instance.

Yep. Back in the day, I would copy-paste the content from cache descriptions into text notes on my Palm PDA. My normal geocaching routine revealed coordinates (and other information) hidden in this way.
