GeologyJohn
I first noticed this about a week ago using Android app version 9.56.0 on a Samsung Galaxy A14. I removed a bunch of caches from a bookmark list on my laptop. Using the app, I then selected "Download Offline Data." The number of caches in the list as posted under the list name (numeric digits) did reduce to the correct amount, but the caches themselves were not removed, either from the list of caches or when the list is mapped. Clicking on one of the previously removed caches and selecting "Remove Geocache" returns a message of "This geocache has already been removed." The cache is then removed from the list within the app. It seems I need to individually select each previously removed cache and delete it one by one. Adding a cache to the list on the desktop version has it correctly show up in the app, but deleting it on the desktop does not remove it in the app. Selecting "Remove Offline Data" then downloading the data again does not fix the problem. Neither does selecting "Refresh Geocache Data." Quote Link to comment
Max and 99
I just tested this out using the website list and did not have any issue with it automatically being deleted from the list in my app. The count reduced by one and the geocache was no longer on the list. And no longer on the list map either. Edited August 12 by Max and 99 Quote Link to comment
GeologyJohn
I uninstalled the app, then reinstalled it. All previously removed caches from the list were no longer in the list. Then I removed a few more caches from the list on the desktop version and updated the list data in the app. The same problem occurred: the deleted caches remained in the list. Clicking on one and selecting "Remove Geocache" returns the same message of "This geocache has already been removed." The cache is then deleted from the list. So for me, the only way to remove caches from a list on the app is to individually remove them, or uninstall the app. Quote Link to comment
evilfoot
I've had the same problem for the last month or so, also on Samsung galaxy. Tried clearing the phone's cache but no luck. Quote Link to comment
Pix_Z
Same thing here, been happening for about a month. I also tried deleting the list and creating a new list with a different name. Same result. Quote Link to comment
