+brandwood
I have been away from geocaching for a while, but picking up on the thread on UK trig points back in may. A file of all 6557 trig points - converted to WGS 84 can be found at http://www.36haroldstreet.freeserve.co.uk/trigpoints.htm I have been using theis as data for a while for walking etc and is reliable. The site also refers to a WGS convertor on the OS GPS website. So with only 6557 options .... Quote Link to comment

+Chris n Maria
Yup, I took that very same file and removed the duplicates, and cross linked it with some other files (sourced by Team tate) to provide a bit more information. I sent the file to Jeremy - then things got a bit confused as Ordance Survey were keen to help and Jeremy said he would get in touch with them. Havn't heard anymore sionce. Chris. +Chris n Maria
OK, The figures we have are in Degrees Decimal Format (not the usual Geocaching.com Minutes Decimal). I converted the figures for pendle hill using my spreadsheet and this is what I got: N 53°52.11372 W 2° 17.91348 Alt 608 Meters it Maps to: Ordnance Survey StreetMap Which looks good enough to me Chris "We're not lost - we just don't know where we are" London & UK Geocaching Resources: http://www.sheps.clara.net Quote Link to comment
