+Viervoeter Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) If this post is in the wrong topic, my apologies. Shifting to the right place is welcome. I like the new way of logging. But I really miss being able to adjust the date on a photo. By the way, it works fine with a log, but I am concerned with editing a listing of a cache or event. In both situations this was always possible, but not anymore since the new method of logging. I build a page for a cache or event in parts. Not everything at once, but step by step. If the page is then submitted for review, the last step is to check everything and place it correctly. It is strange if there is a photo or picture in the gallery from 1.5 months earlier. I would like to be able to adjust this as I always could. Edited April 1, 2024 by Viervoeter 1 Quote
+Viervoeter Posted April 1, 2024 Author Posted April 1, 2024 How do I best approach this to persuade HQ to reinstate this option? Quote
+peter-tvm Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I was about to write that its still possible to change the date. So it was good that I actually looked and realised that the option to change the date on picture added to logs is removed. However, if you add pictures to the description by the upload tool the image is never added to the gallery so there is no date to be seen. About the possible differences is the image date and the publish date I'm certain that very few cachers would even notice it. Quote
+Dr.MORO Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 So, Is there no method to change the date of any photos you've uploaded? Is the newly uploaded photos' date automatically set to the associated log's date, and not the date the log is posted? Quote
