Cannot log - error 500

Attempting to log an earlier DNF on https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7T8JA fails:

Is this a known issue?

For the record - worked now.

And now cannot log a find, error 500 again. Any guess when this could be fully solved?

I think it might be because the cache is disabled

A cache in a Disabled or Archived state would not cause the error 500.

Indeed, nothing should cause 500 - it's always some error on the server side.

I still cannot log a find on https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC8ZKF7, error 500.

Still getting error 500 (for the record, that should never happen, it's "Internal Server Error").

Is there any better way to report bugs like this?

This is the correct forum section for reporting possible website bugs, and you've made a good report.  You could add to your report by saying what operating system and browser versions you are using when experiencing the errors.

 

You can also write to Geocaching HQ via the Help Center to report a bug.  Use item 18, "Bug reporting," from the dropdown list where you're asked how to categorize your request, so that your inquiry routes to the correct team.

Thanks, as the error still persists, submitted it in the help center.

Support was a bit confused about error 500, but a bit later it started working - I guess developers got information about the errors from the logs
