Round-Britain TB race

Before the football idea was being discussed, we were thinking about organising a "round Britain travelbug race", initially for people here in Winchester, but realise that it could be an all-comers event. Here's the idea:

 

- Create a travelbug, but also add a special "passport", explaining what it's all about.

 

- place in a suitable starting cache... the TB has to return here at the end of the trip

 

- TB must visit "x" locations, including (a) two in the scotish highlands, ( one in Devon or Cornwall, © one in Hampshire, (d) one in Yorkshire, etc etc.

 

- Caches visited must be logged both in the TB's passport and on the individual cache pages

 

- Only max 2 TBs may travel together (hmm, that could be fun!!! "here's a fiver, take MINE with you!!!")

 

- Maybe someone could run a small website with the race details & results on?

 

- Do we want a prize for this, or is the glory of being winner enough? Mind you, winner WILL have to buy drinks for all the other contestants!

 

- No cheating! (we will organise the placing of T&J bears in all caches to watch you all :-) )

 

I'm sure you have all got some good ideas too....
