[BUG] Total finds in profile does not match total in detail on iOS app (for me) current version

Hi,

 

I noticed tonight when I go to my profile on the iOS app, the first page with the Wheel of Challenges, Finds, Hides, Statistics, etc. It shows what I believe is my correct number of finds: 250. But when I click on that 250 and it takes me to the list of my finds, the small text at the top of the list displays "You have found 247 caches so far." As far as I can tell these two numbers should match. They match on my wife's phone and I can't see any logical reason why they should not match. I'm attaching screenshots of both screens. My forum name matches my actual name on geocaching.com and I don't care about hiding that information.

It appears you have three duplicate logs that are causing this discrepancy:

 

GC20J7A

GCV47N

GC4AJPZ

 

It's no longer possible to post duplicate logs, so you are unlikely to encounter this error again. I hope this helps!

Well that's an easy one to fix!

@worrellsquirrel Is there any way for me to find/delete the duplicates myself? Or can you drop the duplicates from the database?

Project GC has a tool for finding duplicate logs:

@barefootjeff That worked thanks! My numbers match now. Two were return trips with my little kids and one was just a duplicate on the same day. They were all a long time ago so it's possible on that same day duplicate something wasn't working and I just submitted it twice. I have never heard of Project GC before.
