+geodarts
We are getting ready to travel out of town and I wanted to download Mapforge files for offline use with the Whereyougo app. The Mapforge.org and its mirrors only seem to support v. 5. I have not found v.3 maps. Is there an alternate source? Edited April 3, 2023 by geodarts Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Try openandromaps.org; I think they still offer V3 maps. EDIT: yes, but 2019, yeck. These are topo maps, mind you, wifh contour lines and thus bigger file sizes. But they should be compatible if you find V3. LoMaps from Locus are V3 for a very short while longer, if you have access to them, eg via their app. (As you might know, the apps are distant relatives.) +geodarts
I was able to track these v. 3 maps down through a link on the openandromaps site. https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/misc/openstreetmap/openandromaps/mapsV3/ So far I have not been able to get the app to recognize the maps, so perhaps that is another reason to use Geooh Go.
