+CCFwasG
Hi All, Am I missing something when I try to get a map of a geo-art via the *solved* coordinates? I need a map of where they are located, but have found them all so the GC map here shows them in the "art". I went to filters and checked "solved coordinates only" and it is still not mapping them! Any tips?? Or is this a bug?? Quote Link to comment

Any tips?? Or is this a bug?? This is how it has been forever. It's been a requested feature for a very long time to be able to show the solved coordinates for found caches on the map. The filter for solved coordinates doesn't change the display for them after you find the solved caches. I usually take a screenshot of the solved but unfound geoart geocaches map before I go looking for them. Edited February 18 by Max and 99 2 Quote Link to comment

I'm calling that a BUG then, since the option is very definitely there. How annoying. I will use the not-allowed-to-be-named app then, which *will* do it. (How hard can it be...?!?!) Sigh. Around here there's no geoart, all the mystery caches are just individual puzzles or the odd challenge cache, so having them revert to their bogus coordinates after being found serves no purpose at all and is frequently problematic. Next weekend I'm going out with a few friends for some kayak caching on the Hawkesbury River, targeting a series of puzzles that were published in late 2020. At the time, I managed to solve a few and hit the water to find some (and DNF one I couldn't quite reach), but now it's going to be difficult to plan our paddle as I can't see where those found ones are. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+lee737
Thankfully we have our GPSr and Cachly, which preserve the physical location. The website is plain hopeless for planning/hiding caches... 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+CCFwasG
Notifications failure... just seen these after I replied in the other, older, post (that I now see Max & 99 quoted here) over in the "website" forum. I made a suggestion that admin merge threads. Thanks all for replies. Quote Link to comment

If you don't have a problem with a script, you can use the GC little helper II script on the webpage. There you can easily switch between the original and the changed coordinates. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
