Subscribe to Calendar for Local Events (active links to Outlook, Google, etc)

I'd LOVE to be able to subscribe to a calendar feed of events in my area.

 

I use Microsoft Outlook and I have subscribed to calendars from other services quite easily.

That's quite a nice idea. If i might complicate it a little, a bonus of a few areas would be nice too. The dashboard shows only the events near the home coordinates.
