My wife had opened an account years ago and entered ownership for a TB that came with a small device that we had gotten for our daughter. The TB and the device have been sitting in a drawer not being used. I want to be able to transfer the ownership of the TB and finally set it free to roam the world. Is this possible? I have access to the old account but I don't see a way to transfer the ownership. Quote Link to comment

Keystone Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 To transfer a trackable, use the do-it-yourself adoption tool found at http://www.geocaching.com/adopt -- the existing owner will need to go there first, enter the TB Code and the name of the transferee, and then a message is sent to alert the new owner to go to the same page and accept the transfer. No involvement by Geocaching.com or a volunteer cache reviewer is needed.
