What would I like to see as a player?

I would like the ability to tell if this adventure is one for me.  How strenuous is it?  How far do I have to walk.  How long is it likely to take me if I walk, do the stages by car, or by bike or by pubic transport?   Even for a non-sequential adventure this is hard to do.  For a sequential adventure, when only the first stage is available through the API, it is almost impossible.

 

I would like the ability to answer a question asking "How many?" with either the number or the word.  6 or six should both be acceptable answers.  Alternative spellings should be allowed.  A farming implement is either a plow or a plough.   I don't want to guess what the AO had in mind.

 

I am 74, have fingers the size of small sausages and find it really hard to type on a phone.  I would like to be able to go home and write a meaningful review on my computer keyboard.  Not the adventure equivalent of TFTC, because that is all I can manage in the field.

 

I would like  the ability to write reviews on individual stages, or at least the ability to write a review on an adventure I started, but didn't have time to finish.  I started a brilliant 10-stage adventure in Sydney the other day, but only managed to finish 5 stages.  Why can't I tell the CO what a great adventure (s)he has created?

 

I would like my finds to be recorded on the correct date, not the day before because I'm in Australia.

As far as I'm aware, that got fixed some time back, maybe about a year ago (or was it two - the COVID lockdowns have thrown my sense of time totally out of kilter), and the fix was applied retrospectively. Certainly one of my more recent AL completions is shown on the same date as my find of its bonus cache (which I did a few minutes after completing the AL):

 

 

I do wish, though, that they would use my Date Format preference in the AL find view instead of that muddled up American format, but I've lost count of how many times I've requested that so I guess it's not going to happen. It does get confusing, though, when both the month and day are 12 or less.

It hasn't been applied retrospectively.

 

My son and I drove to the mega at Alexandra collecting caches on the way.  18th Nov 2017.  The next day the labs were released and we did them all  that day, the 19th.  The labs have been recorded as found on the 18th.

 

I've just checked and they are still wrong.
