My favorite Flagstaff are caches are not ones i'd tackle in the winter with a rental car. Here's one I placed recently that shouldn't be a problem even if we have snow on the ground when you're here, yet still gives you a nice hike in the woods. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=50649

P.S. Pray for snow for us... lots of it. or we'll be having another cachless summer in central/Northern AZ with closed forests.

The West Fork of the Oak Creek hike is one of the most beautiful parts of AZ that I have seen. And due to the sheer canyon walls it makes this cache a tough find.

Again maybe not the toughest hike but a nice one, and beautiful vistas.

Or for a tough hike and great views, try my Hundred Dollar Cache.

Feel free to email me for any other info.

There are several good caches around the Prescott area. If you like the mountains, but not too far from town, try "Spruce Wild Goose Chase" "Highland View" "Barnes and Noble It Ain't" "All That Glitters...Isn't". (Those are some of my caches). Also "Prieta View" "Cow Patty Peak" "Two of Seven"...just about any in the Prescott area are good. It's a bit chilly and snow is expected later in the week. In town, there are some excellent caches to amuse as well.
