Guess we'll have to look for some fellow Jeepers out there. Good luck! I can sympathize. BTW, there is a cache hidden in the Truckhaven Hills near Salton Sea. I think someone hid it during the annual TDS Desert Safari (first weekend in March every year). We go every year and will continue to do so - it's only a 5 hour drive from our new home. 1200 or more vehicles attend and it's mostly Jeeps.
