PCNs have two modes: Display (on a grey background) and Edit (on white in a box).

It is really frustrating that clicking on the grey area text changes to Edit mode but doesn't put the cursor in the text box.

Please could you update the html coding to change focus to the text box?

 

(This may/may not have been mentioned previously, but Forum Search isn't working today, just ERRORs.)

As a workaround: click the grey field and immediately hit the tab key.

But getting focus directly within the text field is the desired (and expected) way to go.

Oh, my, yes, please. It has been mentioned before. It used to work as you are suggesting it should, but without a release it sight, suddenly clicking the PCN box once wasn't good enough, we had to click it twice. It's past time to mention it again. Hardly a day goes by that I don't get caught by this, even after a year or two to get used to it.

Perhaps you have to upgrade your system environment ... ?

After the second click, it no longer makes sense to still show "Click here to enter a note".  Now finally it's waiting for text, not a third click.
