+Gill & Tony 337 Posted June 16, 2019 Some time ago I read something which suggested that Groundspeak do something to hyperlinks inside a profile page. I gathered that when you click the link they intercept the link somehow. Can anyone explain what they do? I suspect that whatever it is is causing problems with my external GSAK statistics. +funkymunkyzone 533 Posted June 16, 2019 Interesting.... I wouldn't have thought Groundspeak could do anything to the target page when it opens in the browser after clicking the link. But.... - Click on your link and it opens in new tab, the tabs on your stats page don't work - Right click and open in new tab, and the tabs on your stats page work - Copy the URL to a new browser tab, and they work (Google Chrome) Quote Share this post Link to post

On my PC as a local file, loaded directly into a browser by typing the URLin the address bar, right-click and load, shift-click into a new window. It always works except when I directly click the link. Quote Share this post Link to post
+Gill & Tony 337 Posted June 20, 2019 OK, we have a solution. My son, who is something of a networking guru tells me that using target='_blank' inherits some aspects of the parent page (in a possibly exploitable way) as described here So the fix is to lose the target="_blank". I though I'd pass this on to anyone who hosts their FSG stats on an external site. Quote Share this post Link to post
