+T0SHEA
We have recently been promoted to leader in several categories. These were NOT a take-over. Simply stated, I sent a courteous email to the leaders of these inactive categories, asking if they (the leader) would consider promoting us to be the new leader. A few happened quite quickly, a few are still pending. There are steps that are necessary: 1. You need to be a member, join the group. 2. You need to be an officer - If not, you will need to be promoted. Either contact the leader asking to be promoted or contact another officer requesting a vote be called to promote you to officer. If this happens it will take a full three days or a majority vote yea to promote. 3. Once you are an officer, you can call a vote to demote all inactive officers. This will also take a full three days. 4. If necessary, you can recruit new members that support your efforts for a take-over. You will have to call a vote to promote them to officer. 5. Once this is completed, you can call a vote to demote the leader. This will require 100% of all officers to vote yea. Now the question is who becomes the new leader, is the person who calls the vote or is it the next officer with the lowest call number? Let us have a discussion about the pros and cons of taking over inactive categories. Edited May 16, 2019 by BK-Hunters Quote Link to comment
